The pitching jury announced the results

On March 2, 2023, pitching of independent projects from Eastern Europe and Central Asia was held as part of the IDFF Artdocfest/Riga film festival.

The jury included:

  • Marianna Kaat (Estonia)
  • Alina Rudnitskaya (Czech Republic)
  • Filip Remunda (Czech Republic)
  • Guntis Trekteris (Latvia)
  • Vitaly Mansky (Latvia)

On March 3, 2023, following the results of the pitching, the jury members decided to support the following projects:

The main prize of USD 20,000 (Current Time) goes to the film "Shchastya" (Dmitry Kubasov, Turkey)

Jury Prize of USD 10,000 (Current Time) goes to "With My Open Lungs" (Yana Sad, Germany)

Jury Prize of USD 10,000 (Current Time) goes to the film "Tower, Sun and The Seven of Wands" (Tanya Vikhreva, Czech Republic)

Jury Prize of USD 10,000 (Current Time) goes to the film "Someone else's war" (Daniel Berger, Kyrgyzstan)

The Artdocfest Film Festival Foundation decided to support the following projects:

"The Senator's Daughter" by covering 37% of the project (Ekaterina Mamontova, Russia-Georgia)

"A Personal Receiving" by covering 78% of the project (Elizaveta Stishova, Israel)

"Our Summer" by covering 35% of the project (Vitaly Akimov, France)

"Bon Voyage" by covering 23% of the project (Tanya Bazhenova, Armenia)

"The Shards" by covering 52% of the project (Masha Chernaya, Russia)

"Factory of happy people” by supporting in editing, color correction and mastering outside the Russian Federation (Yana Osman and Anton Khamchishkin, Russia). The decision is confirmed after viewing the final version of the film.
